Description
Description:Kinsley Energy Systems is seeking a Fabrication Technician. The Fabrication Technician supports the production and installation of company products, specializing in pipe fitting, welding (MIG/TIG), metal fabrication, and mechanical assembly. This role contributes to in-house and field build-outs and actively assists in process execution and apprentice development while maintaining a strong safety and quality culture.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Carry out the production and installation of piping, mechanical, electrical, and metal fabrications per design specifications.
- Specialize in TIG pipe welding, fabrication, and general mechanical assembly.
- Assist with project installations at customer sites.
- Perform additional duties supporting fabrication and installation processes.
- Provide support and skills mentoring to Apprentice Technicians.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate professionalism, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to team success and continuous improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Advanced skills in pipe fitting, welding (MIG/TIG), and metal fabrication.
- Strong familiarity with hand and power tools and fabrication equipment.
- Understanding of OSHA 10 safety standards and safe work practices.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team and remain composed under pressure.
- Self-accountable, dependable, and goal-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
