Aisin U.S.A. Manufacturing, Inc., located in Seymour, Indiana, was established in 1987 as one of the member companies centering around Aisin Seiki Co., Ltd., a Japanese company expanding its business worldwide. Aisin U.S.A. is a leading manufacturer and Tier One Supplier of high quality automotive components, which employs about 2,000 Team Members at two facilities housing approximately 22 acres under roof.
Our customers demand high quality, and we hold "Quality First" as our fundamental principle. In order to achieve "Quality First," Aisin is guided by the simple principle of "Respect for Human Resources." The work environment at Aisin is fast-paced and team-oriented and is continually being improved to maximize safety, production, and team member enthusiasm. Aisin complements the work experience by offering Team Members and their families, as well as the community at large, a variety of recreational and cultural facilities and activities.
Our company engages in the development, production and distribution of functional automotive components including: door locks, seat adjusters, exterior trim molding, and door frames. Aisin continually evaluates diversification of our existing product lines. Likewise, we continue to examine new product lines and state-of-the-art technology that is beneficial to both people and the environment. Our facility is QS 9000 certified for quality and ISO 14001 certified for environmental standards.
Company History
1986—1989
·Groundbreaking for our 150,000 square foot facility (Phase I) in Seymour, Indiana.
·Completion of Phase I of our Seymour facility.
·Manufacturing begins; Aisin creates moldings and frames for the Toyota Camry.
·Grand opening of our Seymour facility.
·Groundbreaking for an additional 124,000 square foot facility (Phase II) at Seymour.
·Phase II construction complete.
·Wastewater treatment plant comes online.
