Company Overview
Western Valve manufactures the Dan Ex Dual Expanding Plug Valve. The Dan Ex valve is a green valve; it is fugitive emission free, verifiable by design features. The growth of the double block and bleed market is relative to the need for pipeline integrity and the increased demand for fuel, due to population growth. Alternate transportation routes, such as underground pipelines, substantially reduce highway traffic from fuel trucks and the safety hazards they produce. The Dan Ex valve is also seeing an increased demand in the airline and military aviation fueling industry. Western Valve has shipped valves and valve parts within the United States, as well as exporting to 23 different countries.
Company History
Established in 1991, Western Valve is the leading remanufacturer of pipeline thru-conduit valves. Each valve is completely refurbished to same as new condition and tested to American Petroleum Institute (API) 6D standards.
In 2000, Western Valve began manufacturing the Dan Ex Dual Expanding Plug Valve. The engineered product line, acquired from Daniel Valve Company, was introduced into the international industrial valve market in 1979 .

Western Valve achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2005. Our Quality program encompasses every position in our plant; from the janitor to the owners. The purpose of our program is to 1) achieve product consistency and conformity, 2) meet customer requirements with a focus on customer satisfaction and perception, 3) to continually improve our products and work processes and 4) reduce scrap and rework costs. The ISO 9001:2000 certification is one of the top manufacturing certifications that can be obtained internationally. We are very proud of this distinction. We are also proud to manufacture an American made industrial product.
